The Heat Pump Doesn’t Run The thermostat or power supply could be to blame. There are several ways to fix this problem. First, ensure that the thermostat is set at the correct temperature. You may have the thermostat set incorrectly or of the wrong type. Also, ensure that your heat pump is able to generate enough power. Before replacing the main electrical panel, it is important to check any subpanels. Tripped circuit breakers should be reset. If it trips again, it could be an electric short.
